Milieu Insight is a consumer research and analytics company. How we do it?

We collect our data through a proprietary mobile app known as Milieu Surveys (just search for it in the Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines & Thailand app stores if you’d like to give it a spin). The opinions shared by our community of panellists are synthesised through our proprietary algorithms, allowing us to gain a deep understanding of what drives their personal and social motivations, as well as their consumption habits.

So, what about the role?

We are looking for a Research Lead based in Bangkok, Thailand. You will lead the Research Team and play a key role in their development, individually and collectively. You will provide direction on research and operational processes, guided by both local knowledge and our vision for the future. You will also be required to work as a team with our regional research team based in other Southeast Asian countries.

Responsibilities include:

1.Overall research and client management

  • Work with clients to understand their research needs and translate their requirements into research solutions to answer client business issues
  • Introduce to the market research methods that are accessible and user-focused
  • Grow current client accounts and new business accounts

2.Team management and growth

  • Lead, coach and mentor a young, enthusiastic research team
  • Grow the research team in line with our expansion plans
  • Lead and improve cross-department and regional relationships

3.Drive service and product development

  • Drive product push into the market by increasing awareness and adoption of our products and services in the market research space (e.g. Canvas / Portraits )

What we’d like you to have

  • 8-10 years of working experience in a quantitative consumer research role
  • Experience in developing systems and frameworks to improve overall research structure
  • Sufficient experience in managing and growing small teams
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Robust analytical skills to complement strong business acumen and data storytelling
  • Excellent communication skills with a good command of English
