How we do it?

We collect our data through a proprietary mobile app known as Milieu Surveys.  The opinions shared by our community ofpanellists are synthesised through our proprietary algorithms, allowing us togain a deep understanding of what drives their personal and social motivations,as well as their consumption habits. Clients access consumer insights and recommendations through our innovative, AI-enabled query and recommendation portal.

Role Snapshot

  • Position: Commercial Research Intern
  • Team: Research & Commercial (Sales)
  • Location: Bangkok, Thailand
  • Type: Hybrid (3–6 months internship)
  • Reports to: Business Development & Research Leads

What You’ll Learn

This internship will give you hands-on exposure to both research and commercial development. You will gain practical experience in:

  1. Market Research Fundamentals
    • Designing and supporting quantitative & qualitative research: surveys, interviews, focus groups, desk research.
    • Ensuring data quality and accuracy throughout the research process.
  2. Insight Generation & Storytelling
    • Building mock-up reports, proposals, and visual slides to align with client pitches.
    • Translating raw data into clear, actionable insights for commercial use.
  3. Sales & Business Development
    • Supporting sales leaders in client briefings, proposal development, and pipeline tracking.
    • Learning prospecting, pitching, and client relationship-building.
    • Joining internal brainstorming sessions to develop frameworks and narratives.
  4. Client-Facing Experience
    • Shadowing senior team members in real client cases.
    • Learning how to prepare and deliver impactful presentations.
  5. Industry & Consumer Trends
    • Staying updated on market developments and consumer behavior to support commercial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and executing research projects (surveys, interviews, desk research).
  • Support the creation of client presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Conduct data checks to maintain accuracy and consistency in outputs.
  • Prepare visual slides and mock-up reports for pitching proposals.
  • Coordinate between research and sales teams to track opportunities and pipelines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to shape research frameworks and commercial storytelling.
  • Join sales activities to learn prospecting, pitching, and client engagement.
  • Research industry and consumer trends to support business growth planning.

Who You Are

  • Undergraduate student (Year 3–4) or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data into insights.
  • Basic knowledge of market research methods (quantitative & qualitative).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SPSS or other analysis tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English; Thai/other languages are an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Curious mindset with eagerness to learn both research and sales strategies.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
